What's New

Preparation of specification drawings for disabled or special needs environments is now only a ‘click’ away, through new facilities from Total Hygiene.

In the past year alone, the company has launched a new automatic shower toilet, the Clos-o-Mat Palma Vita, plus a range of 10 new toilet and shower lifters, and two new support systems. As a result, it has updated its available drawings and technical guidelines on the Fastrack CAD website (www.fastrackcad.com) in addition to uploading them on the website at this link

Robin Tuffley, Total Hygiene Marketing Manager, explains, “We know from experience that both specifiers and users are surprised at the range of toileting equipment available for the less able, and by the size of the Clos-O-Mat Palma: because it combines toileting, washing and drying in one unit, the expectation is that it will be larger than conventional toilets, but it is actually almost identical in dimensions! Fastrack claims an average of 1200 CAD drawings are downloaded each day, but there is still a general lack of awareness how the design and styling of special needs equipment has evolved, so it is logical for us to produce appropriate tools in an easy to access format, for specifiers to download and simply drop into their schematics.”

In addition to the CAD drawings, the pages on both websites include detail on specification of a unit, to ensure the correct electrical and water connections and optional user elements are incorporated into the design.
